We found out today that separately we’re sort of ok at writing epitaphs for our weeping angel graveyard, but together, we sounded like we were run over by a bus. We had a lot of fun trying to write them, though.

Separately, we made some good efforts:

  • Here lies Mark, From creative mind to valiant hero 1840-1864
  • Here lies Cindy, 1795-1830 She was looking forward to the vaccine
  • Here lies Bruce, loved dressing up as a bat and died by a bat
  • Do not blink twice: 1901-1919 Ima Goner
  • Here lies one of many who will haunt your weary way. Listen to my whisper before the wind carries it away 1851-1901: Willow Maker
  • Look and see how close I am to thee: 1980-1998 CeCe Mei
  • I dare you to look away: 1958-2007L Dari Rare
  • Born too early and never died. Dig me up and look inside (this was good). 2002-2007: Urlys Triedo
  • Cry for me lest I force you: 1888-1900 Freddy Frackle
  • Did you think I’d stay gone? 1940-2022 Stile Hur
  • I never wanted more than this: 1929-1959 Lazee Luber
  • Here lies the one who didn’t get away 1818-1890 Reb Yuma
  • Now I know what’s up Bugie Bunnnie 1931- 2000
  • Here lies a boy who made up too many words 2007-2025 Bartholemew Simp
  • I am knocking at the door of your mind, let me in.

Together, we had some difficulty:

  • Here lies what was gonorrhea upside and he butt flew away younger over
  • The whole end of a wait huh no crusty crab sandwich are sad
  • Here lies Dave Duo uh he chicken leg smoked tail syphilis I read
  • What has fungus toe nail done diarrhea radiation emo flaming chickens squawking outside
  • Okay what in the world is blue men dancing crazily salsa in the nice

These sound like really bad foreign language translations 😊

  • I know some of you have graduated or moved on. It's ok if you want us to take you off the mailing list. We also love to keep you in touch with us. But if you would like to be removed from the mailing list, please let me know in a separate email. Thanks!

Our next meeting is next Wednesday at 4pm.
