Smash Brothers this Sunday!

 Hi guys,

Let's go over the final details of Sunday's Smash Brother's Fundraiser. Please reply to the email with your answers

1) How many consoles and controllers do we have (please tell us if we can use yours)

2) We need to make money, so how many guests are you bringing to play? Remember 5 dollars cash

3) Are you coming?

4) The library opens at 12:30, so we will need those who are setting it up to be here exactly at 12:30 to move TV's and screens and set up.

See you Sunday!

Congratulations Professor Matthews!

 Hi!

My second book, Ashes, is available on Finishing Line Press's website for pre-ordering.  The preorder session will last from today, March 21st, to May 27th.  Any orders during that period may arrive sometime during the summer.

Ashes manifested after my brother and I travelled to the beach where the Colorado River meets the ocean and fulfilled our father’s wish for his ashes to be spread on the Gulf Coast.  Ashes explores the greyish numbness that comes after the shock of loss.  Those moments seem to be locked in some timeless, non-physical world like the Bardo, and to restart time and motion, one must endure those moments of being lost.  Each piece in Ashes is meant to capture the difficulty that comes with attempting to attach meaning to absence, and in the end, the ashen limbo finds a moment to be released.  --Mike Matthews

Also at the meeting was Nic, William, Edward, Matthew and Reece.  Reece showed us one of her photographs and then we each wrote either a story or snippets about it. Then we talked about what projects people were working on.

Meeting tomorrow, Weds March 2 at 4:30pm!

 Hi Writers!

We have our next meeting tomorrow, at 4:30pm. Hope everyone can make it.

Please bring fun creative ideas that we can do together. Remember that when we draw, plan, write, and support each other, we train our brains to succeed in our creative goals.

I'll send out a WebEx invitation if anyone can't make it in person. Those in WebEx make sure to bring creative ideas as well.

See you tomorrow!
